Michelle’s Pilates

We love Pilates! We have been teaching classes in our Central Coast community since 2001. We offer friendly group mat classes at our spacious beachfront locations.

Private personalised classes are available at our Boutique Reformer equipment studio.

We believe Pilates is beneficial for everybody and our classes are designed to achieve a wide range of health benefits. These include – increased flexibility for joint and spine mobility – strengthening of the deep core muscles of the back, pelvic floor and abdomen and focused breathing to improve lung capacity, circulation and relaxation.

We are University graduated Pilates professionals inspired to share our experience and knowledge for your well-being. We invite you to soak up the ocean views and let your Pilates practice invigorate you!

Michelle Wonnacott

Accredited Instructor with the Australian Pilates Method Association and Fitness NSW
Michelle’s interest in body movement began at an early age with her love of dance. After years of travelling and dancing professionally and gaining basic knowledge of Pilates, Michelle embarked on her instructor training at the Pilates Institute, Sydney. In May 2001 she opened “Michelle’s Pilates Place” on the Central Coast and studied the Pilates Method at the University Of Technology Sydney, receiving High Distinctions. Michelle enjoys attending regular workshops and conventions, keeping her updated with the industry and consistently inspiring and motivating her clients.

Simon Wonnacott

Simon Wonnacott

Accredited Instructor with Pilates Institute of Australasia
Following a work related injury, Simon suffered from reoccurring back pain and turned to Pilates. Attending Michelle’s classes for a year his back pain alleviated, his flexibility, core strength and general well-being vastly improved, Simon was inspired to become a Pilates Instructor. Simon completed his training at the Pilates Institute in Sydney and in 2002 became a qualified Pilates Instructor. Simon brings to his classes a relaxed and descriptive teaching style with empathy for those suffering from injury or back pain. With this understanding and his teaching experience, Simon keeps his classes challenging without putting stress on his clients bodies.
